Jitka Vseteckova & Rachel Turner - Ageing Well Public Talks Series 23/24</strong></em></p> <p><u><strong>13</strong></u><sup><u><strong>th</strong></u></sup><u><strong> September 2023 -</strong></u> After introducing the Ageing Well Public Talk series by Jitka, we will explore the ageing brain and how we can support our brain with cognitive maintenance. Cognitive maintenance is a programme of activities and discussion, aimed at general enhancement of cognitive and social functioning.</p> <p>Presenters:</p> <p><em><strong>Rachel Turner</strong></em><em> – Memory Services Coordinator, Age UK Milton Keynes. Rachel has been facilitating Cognitive Maintenance Programmes via Age UK Milton Keynes.</em></p> <p><em><strong>Dr Jitka Vseteckova </strong></em><em>- Senior Lecturer Health and Social Care, Faculty of Wellbeing, Education & Language Studies, The Open University. Jitka has longstanding interest and passion in researching ageing and engaging with public.</em></p>
