The planet Mercury's tectonic history has been dominated by global contraction as the planet shrinks and cools. We use shadow measurements to determine the depth of the vent and have measured the dip of the fault. This collection includes the geological map and calculations used to measure the first direct observation of a fault surface exposed at a volcanic vent in Vazov crater, Mercury. This new method has been submitted to Planetary and Space Science in a paper titled "A Fault Surface Exposed on Mercury".
