The Pelagios Network is a long-running initiative that links information online through common references to places.
This is the GitHub site on which the
Pelagios Network website runs. The Pelagios Network site has been built using GitHub Pages because it
is a lightweight, easy-to-use tool, which enables decentralised
collaboration. And since the Pelagios Network is run by the community,
we want to make it as simple as possible for everyone to contribute to
the site.
