A Processing language sketch that implements the OU's Open Melody tool.

Installation files are in the accompanying file.

A demonstration video is included in the Open Melody collection.

Open Melody is a tool to allow users to create music in collaboration with AI. It was developed at the Open University by Dr Robin Laney and Dr Raymond Whorley. it is an on-going project, so feel free to contact us at robin.laney@open.ac.uk.

The work builds on a statistical music generation approach developed by Andrew Milne, whilst at the Open University, and published in the following paper.
