AGEING WELL DISENFRANCHISED GRIEF in LATER LIFE J 5.1.21.pptm (1.8 MB)
Ageing Well Public Talk Series 2021/22 Talk 5: :Disenfranchised grief and care and caring while ageing
As we age, we may experience multiple bereavements such as the loss of spouses, children and those that we care for as dependants. However, while such deaths are expected they are not always acknowledged or validated leading a bereaved person to feel isolated. In this session we explore this further and also consider ways to better support people who are bereaved in older age.
