Lwimbo (Music)

This is a song composed and performed by Kampala based music artist MLN, featuring Hasa. Both members are both part of the youth organisation NURU, that is led by and supports refugees in Kampala.

The song talks about different ways that lockdown but also, eventual, easing of restrictions impacted on refugees. Relationships with hosting Ugandan populations. It is also an ode to the power of music to help people persevere and get through these incredibly tough times.
