A panel discussion with Mrs Alexandra MacDonald (University of Strathclyde) and Dr Aaron Guest (Arizona State University), to consider issues and activities that communities would like to be supported either in person or online by their local university including the Open University (UK). Age-friendliness recognises and supports the needs of individuals throughout the life-course, from young children to those of greater age and across life experiences such as disability, parenthood, caring responsibilities, education and careers. Our speakers highlighted the initiatives they have taken at their respective universities to engage older people and their local community through being a member of the Age-Friendly University Global Network.

Consent was gained from all participants at registration for the recording to be made available online.
