‘Jack’ is an undocumented migrant living in the Netherlands. He told us “I lost my face mask on my way to work. I couldn’t take a bus or tram: if the controller caught me, I’d be fined. Worse, since I am undocumented, I’d be put in prison and deported to the Philippines. I had no choice but to walk for 40 minutes to my second job, under the burning sun.” He solved his problem later by making a face mask out of a cleaning cloth.
