Organising Food Boxes: a Refugee supports Vulnerable Women in Sudan
Arriving in the UK as a refugee when she was 15, Nusaiba Abubaker now works for the NHS. She is passionate about social justice and particularly about women’s independence. She and three of her cousins have set up a number of projects that support widowed, divorced and disabled women in Sudan. In this video she explains about their first project, the one that changed everything for them: making and distributing food boxes. The narrative, photographs and videos were all supplied by Nusaiba.
