Love and Pride in a Time of COVID-19

BT is a makeup artist from Iraq and has been living in Germany since 2015. BT has found safety and sanctuary in Germany after years of victimisation in Iraq. Their gender identity has been the reason they have received hate messages and threats, they were forced to live a life on the margins and insecurity for many years. 2015 was a turning point where BT had to flee and find a safe place, losing everything they had built for years in Iraq.
