Covid Chronicles: Growing Sanctuary in Swansea

Orchards have always played an important role in communities, both as a gathering space and a great way to provide fresh fruit.

Friends of Cwndonkin Park in Swansea dedicated the pictured orchard to Swansea City of Sanctuary's 10th Anniversary in 2020.

This material is part of the Covid Chronicles from the Margins project, funded by The Open University and the International Institute of Social Studies in the Hague. The project aims to highlight the impact of the pandemic on refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants.
