Citizens of the world singing against oppression in Liverpool
On 15th July 2021, members of Refugee Women Connect joined with the socialist choir to sing in the streets of Liverpool against deportation, detention, and immigration reporting. They held placards declaring their right to be viewed as human and their various identities, including the queer and lesbian identities that the Home Office is so eager to deny. They sang joyfully, despite everything.
