A young refugee living in the Oruchinga Refugee Camp in Uganda talks about how COVID-19 has impacted his life. He discusses how his brother can no longer study and explains that they have turned to fishing in order to eat.

The refugee featured was compensated by the Covid-19 Chronicles from the Margins project for his video diary contribution via our project partner, PADEAP (Pan African Development, Education and Advocacy Programme).

This material is part of the Covid Chronicles from the Margins project, funded by The Open University and the International Institute of Social Studies in the Hague. The project aims to highlight the impact of the pandemic on refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants.
