Covid Chronicles: Re-cycle

This photo shows the Hay Brecon Talgarth Refugee Sanctuary's bike collection. Bikes were gratefully received by Swansea and Newport community members. These bikes will make a big difference to so many people who will be able to travel more quickly than on foot. This scheme also helps the environment as these bikes may have otherwise ended up in a landfill site. Saving the planet one bike at a time!

This material is part of the Covid Chronicles from the Margins project, funded by The Open University and the International Institute of Social Studies in the Hague. The project aims to highlight the impact of the pandemic on refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants.
