This dragon banner was made for the Chinese New Year festival by an asylum seeking member of the Swansea Women's Group. It would have been displayed in the National Waterfront Museum as part of their celebrations. It is really striking, drawn freehand on a single bed sheet in pencil and then fabric marker. She used her son's crayons to colour it in. Unfortunately the festival was cancelled because of the deaths in Wuhan that marked the start of the pandemic.
