UVIS ozone abundances for 2.5 Mars Years

dataset
posted on 2023-12-21, 09:44 authored by Jonathon MasonJonathon Mason, Manish PatelManish Patel

This dataset contains the total column abundance of ozone derived from measurements by the NOMAD-UVIS spectrometer and covers the Mars ozone climatology over 2.5 Mars years from Mars years 34 (mission start) to the end of Mars year 36. The ozone abundance was derived from the inversion of the UVIS spectra using a developed retrieval scheme. More details are provided in the "UVIS_ozone_dataset_README.txt" file.

The dataset also includes the geographical location, time of year (solar longitude), and local solar time for each of the ozone measurements. We also provide the auxiliary data, solar zenith angle, lambertian surface flag, and surface pressure at the measurement location.
