Field diary notes produced within two Italian refugee reception centres between 2017 and 2018 underpinning Marco Distinto's doctoral research exploring power/knowledge relations bonding migrants, social workers and local communities (part of the data is recorded in Italian - the parts relevant for the thesis have been translated and included in the final thesis, see link in references below).
The data were analysed according to a ‘postqualitative method’ perspective guided by a post-structuralist Foucauldian power/knowledge analysis.
