This research data was gathered across 4 studies for the research project "Understanding the Barriers to AI Adoption Within Primary Care: A Novel Model for Acceptance and Resistance". Which gathered the perceptions of primary care stakeholders on AI for primary care. The data showed resistance across all levels of stakeholders which then moved the research towards identifying this resistance for all levels. Resistance to change experts who also had some knowledge of healthcare resistance were interviewed to identify the types of resistance discovered, the reasons for resistance and steps to address resistance. These insights combined with the insights from the primary care stakeholders has enabled the development of a technology acceptance and resistance framework for primary care (ARM-PC), which is a model that specifically focuses on constructs from TAM and UTAUT that are relevant to primary care, along with Trust characteristics (fairness, accountability, transparency and ethics) and also introduces three new constructs "Privacy assurance", Safety assurance" and "Inverse Access Law". A new moderator of stakeholder level is also included to ensure that all stakeholders are involved with any project using this framework from the outset and continually throughout the development and beyond.

The studies included a pilot study with a paper survey that went out to Primary care GP practices. The consent form (HREC/4180/Sides) for this study is attached along with the questions. There were 10 responses to this study. The data has not been saved as it could identify the participants.

Study 2 was an online survey. The coded data and codebook, are within the spreadsheet (codedDataForOnlineSurvey) and the consent form (HREC/4604/Sides) has been included.

The 3rd study was semi-structured interviews with primary care stakeholders. The consent form (HREC/4772/Sides), cleaned transcripts and the email responses to further questions have also been included.

The final study was interviews with resistance to change experts. The cleaned transcripts and the consent form (HREC-2024-0449-2) for those interviews have been included.
