Data Management Plan for EdD project "A narrative exploration of student teacher agency within a period of curriculum reform in Wales"

This project aims to capture student teachers experiences of agency in relation to their role as they train to teach within a PGCE Programme in schools across Wales. This project aims to capture the lived experiences of the student teachers who are training within this context through a narrative inquiry approach. For the main student participants will be selected from Year One and Year Secondary Salaried students undertaking the Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in English at the Open University in Wales. Should a suitable sample not be attained then participation will be offered to the wider cohort of Salaried students undertaking the PGCE in the following secondary subjects: Mathematics, Science, Welsh or Design and Technology. I intend to pilot the data collection methods with a group or individuals outside of the main study participant pool. For example: student teachers undertaking the part time PGCE route and / or any available alumni from the PGCE Secondary Salaried course.
