After the youth and elders participated in the 5-day workshop, they were individually interviewed about their experiences of participating in the workshop, the project more widely, and perceptions of peace and conflict in their communities.

The 10 files in this folder are the transcripts of the interviews.

The Zimbabwe Project was one of the original Proof of Concept projects within DEPA (Decolonising Education for Peace in Africa). DEPA was a 4-year project funded by the Arts and Humanities Council (AHRC) addressing the question: What are the different knowledges and values underpinning peace and how can these practices be connected and compared across countries to create curriculum content and mode of delivery in informal and formal settings, Secondary and Higher Education (HE), in order to decolonise peace education?
