Overcoming the challenges and barriers of project communication for teams in the post COVID-19 world
The purpose of this research is to examine the evolution of remote project teams by identifying and evaluating the barriers and challenges encountered both before and since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research aims to investigate how communication barriers and challenges in remote project teams can be mitigated throughout a project's life cycle. Furthermore, the research seeks to develop a framework that organisations and remote project teams can utilize for decision-making in communication strategies using both virtual and physical, thereby improving project communication throughout the project life cycle.
The aim of this research is ‘To investigate and improve the communication dynamics of remote project teams throughout the project life cycle, with a specific focus on the changes generated by the COVID-19 pandemic’. Qualitative data collection can give a detailed description of what is being observed in the field and help support the interpretation of the data collected.
