This project aims to co-produce a tool to support hospice services to respond to the views and experiences of people with life-limiting conditions who communicate non-verbally. To do this, the project will adapt an existing tool, The Day-Doc, previously co-produced to help services include people with profound learning disabilities in support and decision-making. The adaption of The Day-Doc will involve hospice health and social care staff, family members, and people with life-limiting conditions, as well as hospice organisations across the north of England. The project will result in a tool hospices can implement to better include this group in planning, delivering and evaluating their care and support.
